Steam supply solutions assessed according to line capacity to provide the product with controlled heat and moisture before the pellet press.

During conditioning, ground feed or biomass is prepared with steam and, when required, other liquids before entering the pellet press. Heat, moisture, and residence time affect product behavior. Excessively wet, insufficient, or condensate-carrying steam may contribute to issues such as agglomeration, slippage, and unstable production.
The steam generator supplies the conditioner manifold through a controlled line. Pressure reduction and control, the separator-steam trap arrangement, insulation, and nozzles are considered to support the delivery of near-dry, stable steam to the conditioner. The feed formulation and the conditioner manufacturer's limits determine the final temperature and moisture targets.
Information is required on line capacity in kg/h, product type and formulation, initial moisture and temperature, target conditioner outlet conditions, existing manifold pressure, line distance, operating time, and peak load. General ratios may be used for preliminary assessment; generator selection is based on actual production data and the equipment technical datasheet.
Stilsan evaluates the required steam load and electrical infrastructure and offers a standard or custom-manufactured generator option. The conditioner, pellet press, and formulation performance are verified together with data from the line manufacturer. Pellet durability, capacity increase, or hygiene outcomes are not guaranteed by the steam generator alone.
