Steam curing is a controlled temperature and humidity cycle
The objective is not merely to introduce steam into the environment. Pre-rest, heating, holding, and cooling stages are defined in line with the concrete mix design and product geometry. Rapid or uneven heating and large temperature differences may create quality risks.
Which loads determine the capacity?
The mass of the concrete and formwork in a cycle, initial and target temperatures, permitted heating time, room or cover volume, insulation, ambient conditions, and air leakage are evaluated together. Selecting a generator based only on room cubic volume is insufficient.
